2013 fusion with 170k on it. Whole left rear is cocked in real well, won’t move, tires are looking shot and exhaust is also now damaged
Might wanna put a couple rounds in the engine just to make sure.
Perhaps, depending on how much the wheel and axle are damaged. While spending $170,000 on a 2013 is not helping the valuation, on the good side, I don’t see any noticeable frame damage, so it’s essentially an auto-total.
My 2013 Energi was totaled by the insurance company following a relatively minor accident, and I recently lost it. It was struck on the driver’s side and had 135,000 miles on it. Not surprisingly, given the damage to both doors and the side airbag deploying, the vehicle was wrecked. I was still disappointed with the insurance choice. I purchased the immaculate automobile with 13,000 miles on it, and I never had to pay for maintenance other than tire and oil changes. My dream car should be as much of a love as my Energi.
Depending on the year and mileage, I would assume that she is cooked if there is frame damage.
Batman, this is a really awful camber. Get some bushings priced out.
When I got rear-ended two years ago, I took it to another repair, and they just stated it wasn’t totaled. If you can find a reputable mechanic who will look at it and not just do what your insurance wants, that is.
That’s not all that crazy—a guy hit me. I honestly wondered whether this was my car. I recently had it corrected. Quotes ranged from bw $1500 to bw $2300. The person who struck me had to pay cash. took four days to resolve.
Remember that you can “buy back” from insurance in full. I find it quite mechanically repairable (assuming it’s a left-sided suspension system rather than a subframe). I would clean it and leave it, or change the bumpers, but body damage is more difficult. Aluminum sheet metal is more difficult to deal with in particular automotive components.
Without a doubt, they’ll destroy it. Still, I believe its value as a functional vehicle is higher. Accepting the money might be simpler if you are unable to do the repairs on your own.
The evaluation is returned. 7900 only from a stroll around. Frames being at the c pillar, subframes also bent, exhaust snapped, all new left and right side parts for the rear and, tires, and wheel. The guy and me just had to laugh
If that gas cover doesn’t close then yea it’s totaled
