Help me price my Fusion

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium in great condition with all the features, including park assist and all-weather mats. It has 125,100 miles on it. I’m looking to sell it privately and would appreciate advice on how much to ask for. It’s been an excellent car, but I needed to switch to an SUV for my family. Last year, I put in new brakes, so it’s in great shape. I have mixed feelings about selling it, but it’s time to move on. Any suggestions?

That is very clean, used car market is pretty good right now, just sold my 2010 with 190k for 3.5k, like yours in great interior condition but starting to rust on the rest quarter panels. If you don’t need it gone asap list it high, 2014 titanium fully loaded is still a great car and it’s probably got a good 75k miles left. I would list it just over 10k and see if anyone looking for a nicer older car wants it for close to that.

You’re better off using KBB or Edmunds since it uses your zip code to calculate value.

I saw a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium with 86k for $5300 here in WNY.

Maybe a good deep cleaning will rise the price too.

For reference I’m in Maryland between Washington dc and Baltimore md.

Go to car Max and get a cash offer then use that to determine how much you’re willing to let it go for.

What is Carvana offering you? Wont get much more than that.

Low end probably 2k and a high end of 5k. Do a couple things take it to a dealer for a trade in appraisal, then check KBB value, go to carvana/carmax whatever for a secondary appraisal. Check online for recent sales (kinda the ebay trick for pricing stuff) of used cars of similar make, model, trim and use all that information to give yourself a minimum amount you will take and a starting price to negotiate from.

@Cameron
I would laugh and walk away if someone offered me $5k for this. Maybe it’s way different in other regions but in my area I’d probably be lucky to find this for under $8-9k.

That’s fine you can laugh all you want. If your selling a car and need the money your not getting top dollar for it otherwise you could be waiting months. Ideally anything past 5k is the gold standard, I’m being realistic in terms of offloading the vehicle. Everyone’s situation is different, I ditched my 17 awd se after a bs coolant intrusion at 63k miles had to pay 6k to replace the engine and was offered 11.5k at a dealer to get into another vehicle.

Your odometer looks like it says about 120-ish thousand miles. Given that and then year… I would say between $8k and $11k.

I would say it’s worth at least 6k !!! I got mine a year ago (2019 model) with 8k but this one looks very well maintained and very low mileage. Definitely worth 6,7k in Europe at least.

Very low mileage compared to other used cars I mean. :sparkles:

7k solid this is one of them cars it’s better than its worth like the 05-08 ford focus.

Any photos of the subframe? You are in the trust belt.

You’re American so idk how the used car market is down there but in Canada I’d see that for 8-10 grand.
