Was it sunny or super hot? This happens when the sun shines directly on the dash.

It was on top of the parking garage without any roof, but it was at ATL airport. I don’t think it got really hot in ATL in the last 5 days.
Was it left out in the sun? I’ve seen the glue on the trim weaken from heat if it’s out in the sun on really hot days a lot.

How can I fix it?

Not totally sure, but you could try gluing it back. Maybe use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm it up for a minute, press it down, and hope the glue sticks again. Just be careful not to damage it more by loosening the glue in other spots.
Mine is doing the same thing. I usually use a nail file to pop it back in. It’s not a long term fix, but since I have the same model, it looks like it’s slowly happening over time.
I have the same year and I’m having the same problem.
Same here, I just ignore it.
Interesting. I thought this issue only happened to the Platinum models with the leather dash. Mine has a leather dash too, and it’s pulling away in the same area by the defroster vent. Yours isn’t too bad. I used an anti-slip mat for my phone to cover the area. Now I don’t even notice it.
Huh, I have the same car as you, and I’m at 120k miles. It gets around 100F regularly where I live in California, and mine hasn’t done this yet.
