Should I keep my new foglights with the daytime running light strip or get rid of them

Keep them for sure

The top part is chrome. I’m thinking about making it black

They might blind the drivers with that headlight

Nah, all you need to do is adjust the beam. Just grab an allen wrench and screwdrivers, point the headlight at a wall and lower it

@Sawyer
Oh, you’re talking about the headlights themselves I need to put my halogens back in and take the car for inspection. I’ll figure it all out then

Yeah, sometimes when you switch to LED, the beam gets higher and you have to adjust through the headlight assembly

Are those black rims painted or are they stock

A bit of both. They were black underneath with machined aluminum, but when I got the rims they were scuffed so I painted them completely black

@Jory

@Niko
I got some gloss black spray paint from Autozone. I think it was VHT brand I’d avoid the metallic black since it looks more gray. Gloss or matte black is the way to go for a true black. Don’t forget the primer, high heat top coat and high heat clear coat to keep it from chipping

Got it washed yesterday. The car was so salty and dirty from the snow that my rims were white

So true, I’m in VA too and I still need a wash They keep salting the roads though

@Gentry
Hey, maybe you’ve seen my car around. Vanity plates are super cheap here. No surprise VA has so many vanity plates

Just messing with you

Yeah, the winter salts are terrible but sadly necessary. Plus, birds have stayed here longer because it’s been warm, and they all decided to poop on my car right before it got cold. Now it’s too cold to wash it without freezing everything
