Recommendations for LED Bulbs

Hello everyone I have a 2019 Fusion Hybrid SE and I want to change the factory halogen bulbs to a white LED. The reason is that I live in a place with a lot of forested backroads and the factory lights just aren’t cutting it for me. I would really appreciate any advice or recommendations on a brand or company that makes reliable parts. Thanks :+1:t3:

I got some LED bulbs from SeaLight, available on Amazon. I purchased the S2 and I didn’t have any issues needing the CAN module to clear the fault message.

You should consider adding the fog lights that come with the Platinum trim. It makes a huge difference.

I don’t have fog lights. Are you suggesting I get the bulbs that come with the Platinum trim?

My bad I replied in a new thread with a video that shows how to check if your car is prewired for fog lights below.

What I’m saying is to buy the fog lights and remove the plastic covers to install them. I’m not sure what that involves, but it might be your best option.

Do you know how to power them or how to switch them on and off? I also have a 20 Hybrid SE without fogs but I’m thinking about adding them.

Check out Morimoto. If you have projector housings, HID bulbs would be better as they perform well.

Totally agree, HIDs work much better than LEDs in Ford halogen projectors.

I got a bright quality set from vleds.com about 3 years ago and they are still going strong.

You can’t just swap out lights like this. It’s illegal in every state, and the reflectors weren’t made for COB LEDs or whatever else you use instead of the originals. Just go for the fog light add-on to avoid blinding others at night.
