I want to know if this is a Sport model or what the engine size is. I’m considering buying this 2014 AWD with Ecoboost.
This is not a Sport. The Sport models were only from 2017 to 2019.

There was a Sport option before, but that was more of an appearance package. I don’t think this is one of those either.
@Peyton
You’re clearly talking about the Gen 2 in the picture, not the older generation.
The 2008-2009 Gen 1 had a ‘Sport appearance package’ and the 2010-2012 Gen 1 had a Sport model with a 3.5L Duratec engine. No one would call the 08-09 with a sport appearance package a Sport.
@Eli
Yeah man, my 2015 is a Sport. It just didn’t have a bigger engine than the 2.0L, which is why I mentioned it’s more of an appearance package.
I just checked my window sticker, it says Equipment Group 201A SE Sport Appearance Package.
@Peyton
Your 2015 is not a Sport. You’re just kidding yourself.
That’s like saying you have a Cold Weather edition if you just bought the cold weather package.
Please, just admit it.
@Peyton
That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard. No one would confuse your Fusion as a Sport.
Most likely a 2.0 based on the bumper exhaust. A Sport was available only from 2017 to 2019.
It looks like I see the Ecoboost badge near the trunk. That, together with the dual exhaust, makes me think it’s the 2.0 Ecoboost (turbo) engine.

If it’s turbo, does that mean I can get a good amount of hp like a 2.7? Or should I keep looking?
@Xavi
Not nearly as much as the 2.7TT, but you can get some decent gains with aftermarket parts. Just watch out, or you might blow it up.
@Xavi
You should just buy a Mustang instead; these cars are meant to be stock…
@Xavi
Using premium fuel, you can get about 240-250 hp. I have a 2015 Titanium with the 2.0 Ecoboost and it’s really nice! Good power and fuel economy… just saying, it’s not going to match the 2.7 Ecoboost… but still a fun car!
@Xavi
While you can find mods for these (this seems to be the 2.0 as others have said), it’s not really going to be considered ‘fast’. If you want to build something, look for the 17-19 Sport with the 2.7 or a Taurus SHO with the 3.5 EcoBoost. Those are quicker from the start, and have better upgrade options.
That exhaust setup was only on the 2.0 Ecoboost.
It’s a 2.0 exhaust setup.
The Sport badge was only available from 2017 to 2019, and that had the 2.7L Ecoboost with AWD. The picture shows an SE with the 2.0L Ecoboost. You can tell by the wheels and dual exhaust ports.
Not a Sport. Most likely a Ecoboost 2.0.
As others have said, this is not a Sport. I haven’t seen anyone mention how this year is affected by coolant issues, so I think you should avoid this car.
The dual exhaust and Ecoboost indicates it’s a 2.0 turbo. I owned one and loved it. The 2.0 turbo offers a sporty drive. Ford made a V6 turbo model, but they discontinued those. Most cars now are SUVs, trucks, or minivans. You only see Mustangs, Mercedes, BMWs, Corvettes, etc.
