The parts in your transmission can wear to the dirt and contaminants in the fluid. A flush and fill removes all that, which can then cause your transmission to slip and create other problems.

Yes, you’ll be fine. I waited until almost 100k on my 14 2.5 to do it. It made me feel a lot better then it ended up getting totaled…

No, it’s just right. That’s exactly what I did and it’s running great at 170k miles.
