I'm a Bit Lost … What’s Up with My Fusion Stickers?

Yeah, it’s hitting 38 easily at 70 with cruise control on eco mode. You’re right; I need to stop treating it like a race car, lol. :sweat_smile::racing_car:

Driving a hybrid like it’s a race car is like wearing a suit to the racetrack.

You just end up looking silly and race to the gas station quicker. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@Aubrey
Regular hybrids actually get slightly better mileage than our Energis (when not running on battery). It’s the cost of carrying around that extra weight and battery. The regular hybrid also has enough trunk space for hauling around tools or equipment.

@Skyler
That’s true, but the trade-off for that extra weight without the plug-in is that it can last longer in EV mode. That extra time is what leads to slightly better mileage even with that weight.

But that depends on driving conditions and habits.

@Aubrey
Yep. For longer trips, the hybrid actually performs better. If you’re doing mostly shorter trips, the Energi will be better.

Oh, and if you ever need to know, just pee on the tires of both cars to claim them from the dealership.
