How is it possible that this car still looks so good and drives like a brand new car at 134k miles and almost ten years after I bought it? I had 0 issues with it and everything works!

I’ve had mine for 10 yrs. Runs great, oil changes, tires, plugs once and clutch recall. 150k and still strong.

Clearly, you’re keeping up on the maintenance. You take care of your car, your car takes care of you! :smile:

What an amazing way to look at it.

Love that thing!!

Yeah, I’ve had mine for 9 years now. Basic recommended maintenance only with the exception being of a pair of shocks (the roads where I used to live resemble the moon). It’s a well-engineered car. I’ve spent more on tires (2x Winter, 2x Summer) at this point in time.

@Dustin
I always switch to snow during winter and then back to UHP tires for the summer. And another thing… it’s the AWD version. I have climbed snowed and iced inclines where other cars could never drive up and this thing does it with such ease. My wife and I still don’t understand that. But the snow tires in combination with the AWD are fascinating.

Considering taking a 2019 Fusion, has 180k, wonder if it can go up to 300k and still runs great. Anyone experienced it?

Only if it’s a hybrid would I risk that. Maybe a 2.5L if you can find one too.

@Ben
I have a 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE at almost 120K miles. It’s been an amazing car and no issues yet. Regular maintenance, a trans flush and coolant flush, and it’s perfect.

@Ben
I love the 2.5L. It’s nice, lots of force, decent fuel economy, tried and true. Love it. God bless the 2.5L Duratec.

I would not be surprised if this car gets to 300k.

@Haven
I have a 2016 2.5L at 303k km and still going decent.

303k km is a bit over 188k mi for those wondering. Still a lot of wear on any vehicle and impressive.

There’ve been a few posts with 300k Fusions, hope you can. :pray:

I don’t know, but I’ve recently learned that Hyundai made reliable cars in the early-mid 2000s that can reach 250,000-300,000 mile range off the original powertrain. Some cars require more maintenance than others, I guess.

Hell yeah! My 2014 hybrid with 85K has had no issues either.

I have a 2014 (bought in 2015) SE 2.5 with 176,000+ miles and same 0 issues with the exception of a broken heater hose and the cooling thermostat giving out. I also changed the brakes at 150k miles. I’ve been adding full synthetic high mileage oil and have changed spark plugs every 50-60k miles. I’m looking to get the sport version 2.7 twin turbo someday.

I’ve had my 2016 now for 5 years. Never been in the shop for anything but inspection.

2016 S here, 135,000 miles. Climate control is wonky (I can’t switch from vents (face) to heat or anything else), but other than that, everything is working perfectly.

So much for “Fix Or Repair Daily”. I had an Oldsmobile in 2000 that was 10x more unreliable than my Ford. Hell, my Honda gave me more problems.
