I have heard that Fusions aren’t good in the snow/winter months. I’m curious about how some people prepare their Fusions for the winter months.
Dedicated snow tires, winter-rated wiper fluid, battery check, new fob battery for range for remote starting. Trunk with tire chains, water, blankets, gloves, snacks for those extended road closures. Good ice scraper and brush, all-weather floor mats.
2-3 cans of Fluid Film or Surface Shield

Should be more like 8 if you’re actually doing it right. You gotta get the busy cavities.
Food for 5 days
Water for 5 days
Tow hook and tow straps Most important
Shovel
Hand warmers
New battery? Depending on age of existing one
Bag of salt
A cover that goes on the windshield so when it snows, you take the cover off and there’s no snow on the windshield
Flashlight
LED road flares
Deicer windshield washer fluid
@Hart
I’m still surprised at the amount of people who don’t change their type of windshield washer fluid in the winter months. The blue stuff just freezes on your windshield (if it doesn’t freeze in the lines first).
My 2016 Fusion was a beast in the snow! Not sure where you heard that from.

Same, my girl is a snow monster!
Winter tires are all I need. Already changed. AWD will solve most of my possible winter issues.
Battery yes. If your battery is already not so fresh, it can create a complicated situation for you.
