2015 Fusion Hybrid SE a Good Deal?

Found this car on the marketplace listed as a Ford Fusion Energi, but it’s clearly not that model – haha. The car’s in good shape with new brakes and a recently replaced front control arm. It has 57,000 miles, and I negotiated the price down to $7,200. It even comes with winter and summer tires, so it feels almost brand new to me!

On the test drive, I got 43mpg, which is a huge improvement over my truck’s 11mpg. Since I live in rural Alaska, I’d normally have to pay around $2,000 just to ship a good car up here.

What do you all think? Is this a good deal? What’s the going price for something similar in your area?

Terrible deal, you’ll need to send me the seller’s info so I can take this off their hands.

Seriously though, $7,200 for a 57k mile Hybrid. Fucking hell mate!

I bought the 2020 one, I must say 9.5/10 overall. It saves my life several times.

My 2020 Fusion saved my life. Put it through a telephone pole at 130+ and here I am to be able to tell you about it.

Good horsepower, good exterior look, good interior design.

Overall lovely car. No wonder why Ford canceled this series; this is too good and too durable, they can’t make money at all lol.

I agree. It sucks that many American automakers no longer sell cars - only trucks, SUVs, and EVs.

@Aki
Mustang is a car, Camaro is a car, Challenger is a car.

We still sell cars. Just less.

Go for it. Hybrids last well. I got one of the newer escapes.

I got a 2014 Hybrid SE at 121,000; now it is at 195,000, no issues so far it’s been 3 years.

I love my 2015 SE but it’s the EB 2.0. Knock on wood, the car has been pretty reliable and is nearing 130k on the clock. I hope to give it to my daughter when she starts driving in a couple of years.

In VA, one of those with those miles is like 10k at least, even for that year.

Most reliable drivetrain they did for them.

I hope you are signing the title transfer as we speak.

We agreed on terms and will be transferring when she’s back in town!

Damn, I wanna live in Alaska. As much as I like Fusions, I only looked at the backgrounds of your pics.

Lol, poverty with a view! Short summers, and gross winters that last like 8 months. I’ll trade places with you :joy:.

Look into a SYNC 3 upgrade - it’ll make the car feel like a 2024.

Doesn’t that cost like over a grand and is a pain in the butt going from 4 inch to 8? I didn’t look into it too closely just because it seemed too pricey.

@Miller
I did it for $400 with junkyard stuff. I justify it by saying that I’ve easily saved myself from getting a new car for another 4-5 years.

Where I live that would be double the price minimum.
